PlayStation Theater a State-of-the-Art venue that comes with unique and advanced turnkey planning capabilities. The Theater is 45,000 square feet and features two VIP balconies, in-house lighting system and an in-house sound system by JBL. Backstage, there are dressing room suites with full bathrooms including showers, flat-screen TV’s and wireless Internet capabilities. The Theater’s Times Square marquee is an 85 foot long LED, high definition screen, capable of displaying both live and digital video and it can broadcast live from the stage directly to the marquee in real time. Distributed throughout the venue are five media panels that terminate at the marquee, allowing electronic media outlets to plug directly into the marquee to access live footage from inside the theatre for live broadcast or recording. PlayStation Theater is perfect for large or small scale events; including concerts, cocktail receptions, galas, live broadcasts, awards shows, lectures, press events, film screenings, fashion shows, upfronts, movie premiere’s and much more!

How do my guests get to PlayStation Theater?

PlayStation Theater is within walking distance of Port Authority, Penn Station and Grand Central Station. Additionally, the venue is accessible from the 42nd Street Times Square stop off the N,Q,R,S,W,1,2,3,7,9 subway lines. Please refer to the MTA subway site for schedules.

And by taxi, we are located just off of the corner of 7th Ave and 44th Street.

We can also assist you arranging special transportation.

What are the variable capacities of the facility?

We can accommodate:

  • 2,000 for concerts,
  • 200 - 1,200 guests for a reception,
  • 1,200 for a seated theatre style event and
  • 100-500 guests for a sit down dinner

What is included in the rental fee?

The rental fee INCLUDES:

  • The rental rate is for the use of the space and all existing production in house (outlined in the tech pack).
  • All staffing and expenses are an additional cost, based on the event details and hours needed for the event.
  • Also included is the use of the 85ft LED Marquee for 1 hour prior to guests entering through the end of the event.

Clients are invited to use their choice of caterers.

Our large, on site commissary is available to the caterer of the clients choice. We can also provide the client with a list of caterer recommendations that offer excellent menu's for all types of food and dietary needs.

How many dressing rooms do you have?

We have 3 dressing rooms that all have full bathrooms with showers, make-up mirrors and plasmas.

Is there a VIP Room?

We have a VIP room that can accommodate 20-50 guests, equipped with a service bar and a private bathroom and a private coat check.

Can I bring in my own alcohol and bar staff?

PlayStation Theater has 3 fully licensed bars and we handle all beverages and staffing. We are happy to accommodate your guests with professional and friendly service.
